Triumph Motorcycles - Countershaft Sprocket
The easiest and most effective way to alter the driving characteristics of your Triumph motorcycle is by changing your countershaft sprocket (front sprocket). For more top end, go up on your countershaft sprocket. For more low end power go down on your countershaft sprocket. Changing your countershaft sprocket by one tooth is equivalent to changing two teeth in the rear. Depending on how many teeth you go up or down you may have to buy or adjust your chain.
