To all British Customs Customers,

British Customs over the last year has received a great deal of recognition in the press for our design and development work on Triumph Motorcycles. With all this recognition and our loyal customer base, we have grown rapidly. With the growth, come growing pains, which unfortunately our loyal customers have felt the effects of. We would like to extend our apologies and let you know we are in the process of upgrading to a state of the art Order Management System that will display stock levels and back order notifications in real time on our website. Also, we have recently added staff and are setting up new procedures to make sure we continue to offer the best parts we can with the best customer service possible.

While we are in the process of upgrading our system and facilities, we would like to assure you that we are taking the necessary steps to handle the new demand to continue to improve as a company. Please understand these changes will not happen overnight and we appreciate your patience.

To back-up our systems, we have added staff to assure more personalized service and customer feedback. Leading this function, Matt Caldwell joins us with six years of Triumph experience. He heads up our Customer Care and Product Specialist Department. Also new to the British Custom’s team is Joe Erickson who will be working with suppliers to assure stock levels are maintained, to meet our increasing demand. You should receive an email within 24 business hours of placing your order. Please check your spam filter if you have not received an email within 24 business hours of placing your order. Or you can check your status on-line via our order status system. Sean remains our National Sales Director and he, along with other members of the British Customs Team may be reached for questions at (877) 999-BRIT or Chat Live with one of our product specialist.

We like to think “Service is our most important product” If for any reason we are not measuring up please let us know firsthand. We are here to serve.

James Sherrod of San Antonio, TX sent us these photos of his fantastic 2001 Triumph Bonneville. This hugger orange and jet black “barnfind” paint job is definitely one of a kind, and as James told us, “It grabs your attention and pulls you in.” Only certain bikes have the lines and heritage to pull off this type of paint job and Triumph definitely is one of those and more.

For a custom lowered look, James installed the Triumph Lowered Progressive Forks, plus Norman Hyde M Bars to complete the look for the front of his Triumph. To create a more finished look and provide further protection to the lifter arm, James installed the British Customs Clutch Lifter Arm Finisher. He finished off the transformation by installing custom chrome side covers and a suede seat for more comfort.

The look of his Triumph Motorcycle definitely wasn’t the only thing that James worked on. For better performance and sound, he upgraded his exhaust along with Nology ProFire Ignition Coil.

We love what you did with this bike, James. As he put it best, “Old school meets new school for the best of both worlds” with this bike.

Check out this 2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 belonging to Jim Horner in Bandon, SD. We know Jim pretty well now, and we’re glad he sent us these photos of his finished bike. Jim bought this bike after it was in a front end collision. There was no headlight, no gauges, ruined tank, plus a multitude of other things that were missing or ruined. We’re amazed at what Jim was able to do!

Jim started the transformation of his motorcycle by focusing on power and performance. To unleash the power of his bike, Jim removed his air box with the British Customs Air Box Removal Kit, in addition to installing the Dynojet Power Commander V. Removing your air box with the BC kit allows more air to flow into the motor through two high flow air filters.

For better handling of his Triumph’s increased power and performance, Jim installed the British Customs 21″ Front Wheel Conversion Kit and the Wide Rear Wheel Kit. Steering dampner and billet fork brace were also installed to provide additional stability.

Now focusing on the look of his Triumph, Jim installed a new chrome master cylinder cover, lowered progressive fork springs, power coated rims, clubman bars, and billet risers with actual bull nose rings around the handlebar in between the risers. He, of course, had to get new gauges and a new tank.

Here’s what Jim had to say to us:

Thanks so much for your help, guys; this project turned out awesome. I couldn’t have done it without BC.

If you have a story like Jim’s, or just want to share the work on your bike, submit your bike here for a chance to be featured on our site!

Mike Delfino is one of our biggest fans. He sent us these photos of his 2010 Triumph Speedmaster. He’s put a lot of work into his bike, and it looks really great. But we know Mike, and we know he’s not finished quite yet. Mike said to us, “Thanks BC for helping me get to this point.” We’re always glad to help and we love what you did with your bike.

Performance Upgrades

Mike wanted to unleash the performance potential of his Speedmaster. He installed a custom exhaust; he also installed the British Customs Air Box Removal Kit to allow for maximum air intake to pass into the cylinder-head increasing overall performance. For better stability due to the increased performance, Mike upgraded his shocks. Finally, to catch problems before they get any worse, Mike installed the BC Oil Pressure Gauge.

He coupled the front sprocket cover with a chrome chain guard to cover up the chain on his Speedmaster.
