Iron Moto Challenge: We Want You… To Vote!

With only five hours to work their magic, the Iron Moto builders descended upon the Windy City — custom creations in tow — ready to strip their bikes down and put them back together again. A challenge for even the most seasoned crew within the confines of their own shop, but an even more incredible spectacle in front of the passionate people at this year’s Motoblot. Now its up to you, yes you, to help decide which build deserves to take down the crown of Iron Moto Champion!!!

With no limits on pre-show performance, paint or fabrication prep-work, the only rules to keep these builders in line were the requisite use of a pre-selected catalogue of British Customs bolt-on parts to finish their bikes. Under the watchful gaze of industry insiders, judges and the riding community, the build teams put things back together for final scrutinizing. Needless to say, each unique creation came together well under the deadline and they all looked totally rad.

The best part is, the Iron Moto Challenge is as much about you as it is those incredible builds. Each BC package those builders had to work with can be just as easily assembled by you, at home, on your Triumph Modern Classic. Whether you ride a Bonnie, Thruxton or a Speedmaster, British Customs has a customization package ready to rock so you can create your own custom Triumph.

If you’ve done your job, you’ve already logged on to the BC Facebook Page to enter the Iron Moto Challenge fan contest — winning there could help you score some of those sweet parts. With a little luck, you could be headed to Cabo with some awesome gear and choice bolt-ons thanks to Icon1000, Raen Optics and British Customs. But your involvement doesn’t end there! Get over to the Iron Moto Challenge page to log your vote for your favourite build — your opinion carries some pretty heavy weight: it counts for 40% of the final score and you’ve only got until July 1st.

Here’s how the build winners will be decided. The highest score out of these five categories wins, each category is judged on a scale of 1-5, and people’s choice is highest votes.

  • Hoonability (Performance and Finish Time) (20% final score)
  • Curb Candy (Looks) (20% final score)
  • Best Paint (20% final score)
  • People’s Choice (40% final score)

Each individual that registers to vote will be entered to win a prize package including:
