Triumph Recalls 2011-2012 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800 XC
Triumph Motorcycles has issued a recall to 2011-2012 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC that were built from September 2010 through June 2011. The recall is due to a problem with the engine management software. About 1,485 bikes are affected.
Riders may notice lower RPMs and stalling can occur when the the engine decelerates, increasing the risk of crashes. Triumph dealers will download a new Engine Management Software into theses bikes’ ECU free of charge.
