Shipping
Because we know your Triumph is your passion, we will do our best to make sure you receive your order as soon as possible. We won't charge your credit card until your order is confirmed. A variety of shipping options are available for stock items. If the item is not available in stock, you will be contacted by our parts department.
Most of our products are available to be shipped immediately; however, sometimes popular parts will be shipped in 7 to 10 business days due to peak and seasonal demand and how soon we can access merchandise through our suppliers.
After shipping you will receive a tracking number from UPS. If you don't receive this number within 10 business days, please be sure to get in touch with us to ensure your order has been processed properly.
If your order includes a discontinued product, or is back ordered for more than one month, we will contact you as soon as possible. The long and winding road of options generally includes simply waiting until the item is available, substituting with a similar product, or resorting to last option: cancellation. Additionally, at an extra shipping cost, an order can be broken up and items shipped individually.
Here we go, we've got to say it: British Customs and the manufacturers of merchandise on this website reserve all rights to make changes without prior notice. Because of uncontrollable variables, the products on this website may look different in person than they do on the website. Please make sure to check out our return policy before ordering. And, unless stated, no products we sell are D.O.T. approved.
International Shipping
Please contact us if you plan to have us ship internationally-this category includes Alaska and Hawaii. The caveat is that not every order qualifies and we may need to use alternative shipping methods, due to our carrier's policies regarding delivery to P.O. and APO/AFO Boxes, and shipping oversized items. Please be aware that shipping prices we quote on the website only pertain to the continental United States.
Third Party Shipment Policy
For your financial protection, every third party shipment requires you to update the shipping address with your credit card company.
British Customs reserves the right to cancel or delay an order without notice for any reason including but not limited to:
- Products that were ordered but are discontinued
- Offensive or unprofessional conduct from any client
Returns and Exchanges
Our policy is pretty standard. We must receive your unused, uninstalled, and unopened item within 30 days of the date of delivery. All original packaging must be included. Once your package is received, we will determine whether it is acceptable to issue a credit, less restocking fees. You are welcome to exchange an item for reasons of personal preference; however, return policies will apply to exchanges (please read below).
Please call (310) 534-3330 to inform us that you are returning an item. We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, which should be placed on the outside of the return box. Items sent without RMA number or/and without original packaging could result in your package being refused or subject to an additional $15.00 administrative fee.
We will not accept returns for the following items:
- Electrical parts or digital components (please contact the manufacturer directly for defective items)
- Unless defective, special order or items not usually in stock
- Clearance items (all sales are final)
- Bearings
- Body parts, fenders, frames, and fuel tanks
- Books, diagrams and manuals (basically, any printed material)
- Gaskets
- Stickers
If an order is damaged in transit, lost, or incorrect please contact us via email within 14 days. Please specify order number and other details that can help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.
Items returned for reasons other than an error on our part are subject to a 15% restocking fee. And, unless we made an error along the line, please be aware no credits or refunds are available for any shipping charges.
TERMS
E.P.A. and D.O.T.
Consider everything not E.P.A. or D.O.T. approved unless otherwise specified in the item description. Many items sold by British Customs are intended for off road use only! If merchandise is used for other purposes, it is at the purchaser's own risk and he/she agrees not to hold British Customs legally accountable.

Our custom products have been time tested, user approved, but we still strongly suggest a test fit for all parts before using or modifying them. British Customs is not responsible for paint or labor costs incurred for installation of our products. And sorry, we can't accept returns of modified or damaged parts because of improper installation.
