BC305-(014/016/017) | Installation Instructions for Triumph Street Twin Four Bolt Risers

David Bumpus posted this on Jul 1, 2016

Upgrading your stock handlebar clamps to BC's Four Bolt Risers not only makes your bike look cleaner, but it also makes your riding position significantly more comfortable. The Four Bolt Risers can be installed with a BC Spacer to give them even more of a lift if you're a bit taller than average. Putting the Four Bolt Risers on can be done with the triple clamp still on the forks, but for the easiest installation experience, we recommend taking off the triple clamp and going from there. If you have any questions about how to get to that point, don't hesitate to check out the guide on our Resource Center covering how to remove the triple clamp from a Triumph Street Twin.

Step 1:

The easiest way to install the BC Four Bolt Risers is to install them on the triple clamp once it’s been removed. If you’re unsure how to do this, refer to the guide on our site’s Resource Center.

NOTE: The installation process is the same whether the triple clamp is on or off the forks.

Step 2:

Insert supplied bolt into bottom piece of Four Bolt Riser.

OPTIONAL: Put spacer on bolt if desired. Make sure that the spacer locks into the bottom of the riser.

Step 3:

Put riser bolt into the hole in the triple clamp. Place washer over bolt.

Step 4:

Secure Four Bolt Riser with lock nut using a 17mm wrench. Repeat steps 2-4 on the other side to complete installation.
