British Customs’ Weekend Projects continues with GoPro Photo & Video Challenge, an Abel Brown gloves giveaway, and custom motorcycle controls upgrades packages.
LOS ANGELES, CA
NOVEMBER 16, 2015
British Customs continues their Weekend Projects series to put motorcycle customization in the hands of the average rider by featuring controls upgrades packages and will be giving away a pair of Abel Brown gloves to raise awareness for Riders for Health charity.
To be debuted with their controls upgrades packages, British Customs is announcing that they have become the exclusive dealer for Mule Motorcycles’ aftermarket motorcycle parts. Mule Motorcycles is run by legendary custom motorcycle builder Richard Pollock, who is considered the godfather of the street tracker-style motorcycle. Mule Motorcycle parts are known for being extremely high quality and feature craftsman designs, and British Customs is proud to announce that they have become the exclusive dealer for Mule’s aftermarket motorcycle parts.
British Customs’ new Weekend Projects are innovative and visionary because they eliminate the guesswork that commonly plagues riders seeking to customize their own motorcycles. Each week during the Weekend Projects campaign, British Customs has highlighted a different system which they offer upgrades for, including Appearance, Lighting, Controls, Handling, and Performance. This week they are promoting controls upgrades packages, and have published a buyer’s guide on their newly redone blog about the numerous customization options.
“We’re seeking to redefine the motorcycle customization scene by introducing parts that anyone can install using only common tools,” stated Jason Panther, President of British Customs. “We want to make motorcycle customization available to anyone, and we’re making it highly accessible through our Weekend Projects.”
Their innovative packages allow riders to be able to use whatever style handlebars they would like on their motorcycle, regardless of how they came in their stock setup. These styles include the popular cafe racer, the retro flat tracker style, and numerous others.
British Customs is also hosting a GoPro Photo & Video Challenge, where anyone can submit photos or videos in a contest to win a GoPro camera. For the next six weeks, submissions will be judged according to a theme. The theme this week is “New Heritage.”
British Customs’ Weekend Projects is also an initiative to raise awareness for Riders for Health charity, which uses motorcycles to deliver life-saving medical supplies to rural communities in Africa. In aid of Riders’ efforts, a CROIG X BC Edition 2015 Triumph Bonneville will be given away. Donate and register to win here.
