CM201-005 | Installation Instructions for Ducati Scrambler Screw-In Mirror Hole Caps

David Bumpus posted this on Jul 5, 2016

Relocating the mirrors on your Ducati Scrambler will immediately transform its sense of character, and capping off the unsightly mirror holes left in the control clamps will keep your controls looking clean. It only takes a couple minutes to put them in, and can be done by any rider regardless of how experienced they have working on bikes. While you're working on your controls, it's the perfect time to upgrade your handlebars, handlebar risers, speedo gauge mount, and master cylinder fluider reservoir cover to competely transfor the way your bike's front end looks.

Parts needed:

  • 2 Screw In Mirror Hole Caps

  • Ducati Scrambler

Tools required:

  • 1.5 mm Allen wrench
  • 12 mm wrench

Time required:  5 minutes

 Difficulty: Beginner

 Step 1

Use a 12mm wrench to remove stock mirrors. The right mirror is reverse threaded, meaning you have to turn it clockwise to loosen it.

Step 2

Place Screw-In Mirror Hole Cap into stock mirror mounting hole.

Step 3

Install Screw-In Mirror Hole Cap with 1.5mm Allen wrench. Tighten until snug.

Installation complete!

Install the Mirror Hole Cap on the other side of the handlebars if so desired and your installation is complete!
