How to Remove Triumph Street Twin Stock Handlebar Risers
Knowing how to remove your handlebar risers is incredibly useful for a number of projects ranging from upgrading to BC Four Bolt Risers to upgrading to BC Headlight Ears. It only takes about 10 minutes and two tools. - 14mm wrench
- 6mm Allen wrench
Total time the job takes:
- 10 minutes
Use a 14mm wrench to loosen the nuts securing the riser bottoms to the triple tree clamp. Do not remove the nuts.
Use a 6mm Allen wrench to remove the tops of the stock handlebar risers.
Remove the tops of the stock handlebar risers.
Remove the handlebar from the risers.
Pro Tip: Place a cloth over your gauge so you don’t scratch it if you set your handlebar over it.
Use a 14mm wrench to remove nuts from bottoms of risers securing the risers to the triple tree clamp.
Spin the bottoms of the risers off the screws to finish removing the stock handlebar risers.
