How to Remove Triumph Street Twin Rear Fender

You'll have to remove your rear fender to do a number of upgrades to your tail section, whether you're installing a fender eliminator kit, relocating your turn signals, or swapping out taillights. Thankfully it isn't hard, and can be done in just a few minutes with the following guide.


  • Triumph Street Twin

Tools required:

  • Flat blade screwdriver

Total time the job takes:

  • 5 minutes


  • Beginner

Step 1

Place key in keyhole near left rear shock and turn key.

Step 2

Lift seat from frame while key is turned.

Step 3

Open cable clip on top of rear fender with flat blade screwdriver.

Step 4

Disconnect rear fender wires from harness.

Step 5

Use a T30 to remove four rear fender screws.

Removal complete!

Your rear fender has been successfully removed!
