BC501-028 Street Twin Rear Turn Signal Kit for Stock Location installation instructions

Fitment:

  • Triumph Street Twin

Tools required:

  • 4mm, 5mm Allen wrench
  • T20 wrench
  • #2 Phillips head screwdriver

Total time the job takes:

  • 10 minutes

Difficulty:

  • Rookie

Step 1:

Use a T20 wrench to remove wire cover on bottom of rear fender.

Step 2:

Remove wire cover from underside of rear fender.

Step 3:

Use a 5mm Allen and 10mm wrench to remove stock turn signal.

Step 4:

Disconnect turn signal from stock wire harness and remove stock turn signal.

Step 5:

Route wires for new turn signal through stock mounting holes. Connect the black wire with the red sheath coming from the turn signal to the green wire coming from the bike’s wire harness, and the black wire with the white stripe coming from the turn signal to the black wire coming from the bike’s wire harness.

Step 6:

Secure  new turn signal with a 5mm Allen and 10mm wrench to the stock mounting location.

Step 7:

Use a #2 Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the turn signal bracket.

Step 8:

Repeat steps 3-7 on the other side to install the other turn signal.

Step 9:

Use a T20 to reinstall the wire cover on the underside of the rear fender.

Installation Complete!

Your turn signals have been successfully installed. Test each turn signal to make sure that they work before riding on the street. Check wiring if they do not function properly.
