The O2 eliminator is a connector with a simple circuit that provides a signal to the ECU preventing any error signals to be sent to the control unit. Newer Triumph models are equipped with oxygen sensors that communicate the amount of oxygen present in the exhaust gas to the ECU. The ECU is programmed to comply with certain air / fuel ratios and may cause the motorcycle to run too lean. With the O2 Sensor Eliminator installed, you are able to control the air/fuel ratio.
