LSL handlebar has a 28.5 mm diameter in the area that receives the highest loads. This offers twice the bending resistance as a standard 22mm handlebar. These handlebars are made out of high-strength alloy 2014 T6. LSL offers the Fat-Bar in silver, black and titanium with a cool sand-blasted optic. The colors gold and blue (typical for LSL) come in a highly-polished quality. A laser etched position marking in the clamping area let you adjust the handlebars to your needs. Q: I am after some wider bars for the 2009 1050 Speed Triple. What would you recommend? I was looking at the renthal 810mm bars although I am not sure how much I would have to do to the original cables etc for these to fit? Also would I need riser's etc?

A: The renthal bars are nice and do not require much to swap over. Due to the small rise you can use stock cables no problem with them. The 2008 and newer Speed Triple’s come stock with fat bar risers, this means you will not need to make any changes as far as risers are concerned.

Q: Is this handlebar higher than the original?

A: Here are the dimensions of the LSL bar to compare: 3 3/8" rise, 3 1/2" pull back, 32" width. Customers with 2007 & below Triumph Speed Triple Models are required to purchase 1 1/8" fat bar risers to accept the diameter of this handlebar.
