British Customs is an international lifestyle and motorcycle brand. Established in 2003 we are the largest aftermarket designer, manufacturer and distributor in Triumph motorcycles parts for custom bike builds.  We have an extensive dealer network, over 300 strong, in all corners of the globe and a fast pace e-commerce platform for retail customers. But, British Customs is more than a designer and supplier of custom parts. Marketing Intern

Overview:
We are looking for a digitally savvy intern to join our growing world-class organization! We are looking for someone who is passionate about motorcycles, is resourceful, innovative and forward thinking. Ideally, you're social media savvy, with a knack for developing and creating engaging content. You're interested in learning about brand management, learning about industry leaders and key innovators in the motorcycle world this is a great opportunity. You must be organized, have a 'can do' attitude and be willing to provide support across the team.

You will have a direct impact on our brand. This is a hands-on position where you will be mentored to refine or gain the real world skills required in order to create cutting edge marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Research prospective new members, monitor and report on trends and key influencers

Create content and monitor posts on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Linked-In & Instagram.

Previous writing experience is essential for this

Staff Accountant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Qualifications:  Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting. Prefer those with strong analytical skills and desire to move up in career.

Overview:

In order to maintain our growth and continue providing our customers with excellent service, our team is looking for the best and brightest in their field. Currently, we are seeking a Staff Accountant for the preparation and development of all financial aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the General Ledger. This position requires strict confidentiality.


Job Responsibilities Include:

Support the British Customs and affiliated companies retail, wholesale and manufacturing activities in accounting and reporting needs.

Perform general book-keeping and transactional accounting duties: Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Invoicing, General Ledger entries and financial statement compilation analysis in compliance with GAAP. 

All duties will be within a manufacturing environment and working with general management to instill the most prudent financial practices to track and increase profitability, which is a primary aspect of this position.

The Staff Accountant is the financial application expert on staff, and must understand how to work within an ERP system and bring tremendous value to a dynamic business on the rise.

Responsible for implementation of the ERP and accounting system software for the business. Familiarity with information systems will be helpful in this endeavor, but even more important is reliance on IT tools to perform financial analysis and solve business problems using those tools. 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, and three (3) or more years of equivalent knowledge obtained through career experience.

Three (3) plus years of successful accounting experience.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Detail oriented, highly organized, and computer literate with proficiency in MS and Outlook, with extensive experience utilizing Excel in the preparation and development of spread sheets to support all accounting functions.

Inside Sales Representative

We're looking for talent with the next idea, big or small, that will help us grow our British Customs Inside Sales Organization (ISO) and maintain our standing as a leader in customer and employee satisfaction.

British Customs is an industry leader and joining the ISO is an opportunity to bring value, develop a career, and join a dynamic team. Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) manage dedicated relationships with our domestic and international dealer network, retail customers, and key personalities in the motorcycle community.  British Customs also partners with the worlds largest companies to provide the “rolls royce” of motorcycle parts to Triumph customers world wide.

The ISR is responsible for revenue growth and customer retention as part of a business-to-business integrated sales model. The ISR is responsible for managing customer relationships by making outbound value-added contacts within the context of an established Contact Plan to their assigned account base, as well as accepting inbound calls. While all inbound and outbound contacts will be strategically focused on revenue growth and customer retention, specific outbound call initiatives/campaigns may vary to include lead generation, account penetration, product penetration, introduction of new product/service offerings, relationship building and invitations to special events. As a part of the ISO, you'll join a team of highly trained professionals with extensive industry experience and product knowledge. Come be a part of this growing team!

Job Responsibilities Qualification:

A demonstrated understanding of motorcycles and motorcycle parts knowledge.

A demonstrated understanding of the customer relationship process, with a high level of customer contact experience within an inside sales organization

Proficient in Microsoft Suites

In depth knowledge of MS Office products, CRM system a plus. Eventually develop strong knowledge of British Customs  website and e-commerce systems.

Strong sales skills that includes professional and consultative selling skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong team focus 

High level of initiative to achieve goals

Proven negotiation skills 

Ability to type a minimum of 30 to 60 WPM

PC knowledge with the aptitude to learn new technology-related tools
