Want to unleash the performance of your Triumph America or Speedmaster? British Customs has engineered an Air Box Removal Kit that allows the rider to replace the highly restrictive factory air box with two high flowing K&N air filters. There are two kits available: exposed and standard.

The standard kit includes mounting brackets that allow all factory components (air cleaner covers, side cover and plastic cover) to be refitted and adds a hidden storage compartment for tools, registration, etc. The exposed kit includes mounting brackets that allow the rider to remove the factory air box and OEM air cleaner covers and plastic covers, exposing the two high-flow K&N filters.

The benefit of removing the factory air box and replacing it with two high flow K&N filters is that it allows for maximum air intake. Before removing the factory air box, air flows through a snorkel, then a filter, and then finally into the throttle bodies. After the air box elimination kit has been installed, air passes through two high K&N air filters directly into the throttle bodies or carburetors. The K&N filters allow for the maximum amount of filtered air to pass into the cylinder-head increasing overall performance.  Dollar for dollar the British Customs Air Box Removal Kit has the best performance gain.

Note: It is not recommended to install the air box removal kit without upgrading your exhaust. Checkout British Customs Performance Packages. This kit requires re-jetting of carburetors or re-maping your ECU for EFI models. Remapping options: Tune Boy Engine Management System, Power Commander III, Power Commander V,  Power Commander Auto Tune (for PC5).
