Looking to beef up your rear end? British Customs has developed a 5.5inch Wide Rear Wheel Kit for the Triumph America & Speedmaster. This kit has been designed to fit up to a 200 series rear tire without modification to the swing arm. Increasing the rear tire gives the Triumph America or Speedmaster an aggressive look while improving cornering stability and overall quality of your ride. The rim is a 5.5 inch polished aluminum rim and can be powder coated for an additional charge. The 5.5 inch rim is laced to the stock hub using stainless steel spokes. The spokes are available in a raw or polished finish. A stock America rear hub is required; this kit is offered as a spoke kit or mail-in service.  Mail in your rear hub and we will lace and prep the wheel. Mail-in service takes approximately 1-2 weeks. Your wheel will arrive ready to bolt onto the bike, just mount the tire of your choice. Choose 'Laced' option for mail-in service.

Note: Kit requires you have an America rear hub. This kit requires the wheel to be laced to an America.  If you are installing a wide rear wheel kit on a Triumph Speedmaster or newer non-spoke America, hub will need to be provided. Will only fit the America & Speedmaster equipped with spoke wheels. Tire not included. Wheel hub not included.

Q:  What all is included with the kit? It sounds like it is just a wheel. It looks great by the way! Thanks for your time.

A:  Our America/Speedmaster Wide Wheel Kit is just the wheel.  You will be sending in your rear hub to us for lacing/truing and mounting of the wide wheel. 

Q:  I have mounted the 1" lower progressive shocks, if installed would a wide wheel graze against the inner of the fender?

A:  Most all the ones we have done have had lower shocks installed, this kit should fit fine.

Q: How wide is the rim is on the new wheel.

A: Our Wheel is a 5.5 inch rim/spoke kit that allows you to mount up to a 200 low profile tire on your bike without modifying the swingarm.
