Cover tank to protect from possible damage during install.
Using a Philips head screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that hold the stock reservoir cover in place.
Remove the stock reservoir cover and screws. Set them aside you will no longer need them. Clean any brake fluid on reservoir surface and make sure rubber and plastic retainer are properly seated.
Place the new master cylinder cover and screws into place.
Carefully thread the screws into the holes in the reservoir. Take care not to force them into position — they should thread easily.
Use the 3mm Allen to tighten down the new stainless steel screws.
Make sure the cover is seated completely flat on the reservoir. Clean the outside of the reservoir to ensure that no brake fluid residue left over anywhere on the controls.
Briefly re-check all hardware and newly installed components to ensure all are properly secure .
